Description

Is it possible for the Bangsa Sug to reclaim sovereignty and establish their own state in the digital age? Technology has allowed us to create new businesses, communities, and platforms. But can it help the Bangsa Sug unite, preserve their heritage, and build a modern, globally recognized nation? The BANGSA SUG Network State proposes a bold vision: a digital-first nation leveraging blockchain, decentralized governance, and virtual communities to lay the foundation for a future state.

What is a Network State?

A network state is a highly aligned online community with a capacity for collective action that crowdfunds territory around the world and eventually gains diplomatic recognition from pre-existing states. (Balaji - The Network State)

To realize this vision, the Bangsa Sug Needs to undergo these stages:

  1. Leverage Bangsa Sug OFW strength: Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) form a worldwide network, marked by strong digital engagement, established remittance systems, enduring cultural cohesion, and diverse professional contributions across sectors like healthcare, tech, and maritime.
  2. Network Union - a highly aligned online community based on blockchain technology. It is defined as “a social network with a blockchain, a leader, and a purpose.”
  3. Develop parallel digital institutions in key sectors like education, healthcare, and finance etc. Encourage entrepreneurs and startups to create innovative online alternatives to established public services.
  4. Crowdfunding Territory - The network union via crowdfunding buys property in Bangsa Sug and leverage its economic potential through Halal Tourism.
